The Highland Park mayor an other officials kicked off “Unity in Our CommUNITY,” an exhibition at First Bank of Highland Park to help raise consciousness about stereotypes and support diversity.

The exhibit will continue at the bank until the end of the month, June 30.

Results of a survey, displayed with colorful yarn, depict the “common threads” that connect us as a socially-conscious community.  The public is invited to view the exhibit, read the immigration stories of Highland Park residents and enjoy creative expressions from students at Indian Trail School and the whimsical yarn art by “Knitting HP Together.”

First Bank of Highland Park is located at 1835 First Street.
