One lieutenant and two sergeants from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office have graduated from Northwestern University’s School of Police Staff and Command, Class 415.
They are Lt. Robert Richards and Sgt. Erwin Drummond and Sgt. Beverly Eweisi. The three graduated after attending a 10-week college-level at the school in Evanston with major topics including leadership, human resources, employee relations, organizational behavior, applied statistics, planning and policy development, budgeting and resource allocation. Milwaukee Police Chief Edward Flynn was the keynote speaker at the graduation.
Sheriff Mark Curran, in congratulating the trio, said, “I am confident they will utilize their newly learned skills to continue raising the bar at the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.”
