This year seven new children’s bicycles will be raffled off, and the first 300 children will receive a t-shirt and a bicycle helmet upon registration.
Join the Lake Forest Police Department on Saturday, May 20 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Deerpath and Oakwood parking lots for the Lake Forest Police Department’s Annual Bike Rodeo sponsored by the Lake Forest Police Foundation.
This event is open to the public, and entirely free to participants, including lunch. Bring your bicycles and do not forget your helmets.
The first 300 children will receive a t-shirt and a bicycle helmet upon registration. Children will then be able to get their bicycles inspected, learn about bike safety, and have a chance to show off their skills on the challenge courses. This year seven new children’s bicycles will be raffled off.
Fun for the whole family: music, face painting, games, bounce houses, raffles, lunch, and more! And for the first time ever, we will also have our very own Community Helpers & Touch-a-Truck Event that will feature: Lake Forest Police Department, Lake Forest Fire Department, City of Lake Forest Streets Dept., City of Lake Forest Forestry Dept., City of Lake Forest Sanitation Dept., the Wildlife Discovery Center, the Knollwood Fire Department, and Ernie’s Wrecker Service.
