The Coffee Pot Inn is downtown Kenosha’s newest lodging option which offers a home away from home in a retro-chick three-bedroom upper flat, just steps from Lake Michigan.
Located at 4910 Seventh Avenue, it features fully furnished accommodations for six people with one bathroom, a full kitchen, a dining room, a family room, an enclosed sun room and an outdoor area. Amenities include wifi and cable.
The inn is an extension of the charming and popular Coffee Pot, an iconic eatery next door at 4914 Seventh Avenue that offers a classic fare with a fresh and seasonal twist. Janis Barnhill and Julie Zorn, long-time friends, became owners in 2014. The diner originally opened in the early 1930s.
Last year the two partners bought the building next door and added another dining room called Kenosha Room. The inn is above the Kenosha Room. During summer, the diner opens “the Garden of Eatin’” for outdoor dining.
