Lt. Brian Keller of Lake County Sheriff’s Office has graduated from Northwestern University’s School of Police Staff and Command. He was vice president of his class.

The keynote speaker was former Chicago Police Department Superintendent Garry McCarthy.

Keller and his classmates raised over $18,000 as a legacy gift for Abigail “Abby” Greene, 7, of Crystal Lake, recently diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor.

Lake County Sheriff Mark Curran complimented on Lt. Keller’s accomplishment which he says raises the bar of management and leadership at the sheriff’s office.
