The Lake County Sheriff’s Department reported that gunshots were fired at approximately 3 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 27, in the 12200 block of West 29th Street in Beach Park.
Deputies found shell casings in the area where the incident was reported. Deputies interviewed witnesses at the scene. There were no injuries.
The preliminary investigation indicates a silver Pontiac Grand Prix was likely involved. The vehicle’s driver immediately fled the scene after the shots were fired, witnesses told the deputies.
