Drinkers With Writing Problems is a writing collective created in October 2012. In early 2013, they launched their self-titled blog, which has grown to a subscribership of close to 9,000 readers. The site has been featured as an Editor’s Pick at WordPress as well as a Freshly Pressed blog. The group’s ten core members created the group to further their goals of becoming better writers with a more disciplined approach to their craft. In the years since the group’s inception, the members of Drinkers with Writing Problems have finished first novels and screenplays, performed in literary events around the city, and even hosted a workshop this past winter to help other aspiring writers get started.
